Job description

The Edit Hub is seeking a Junior DevOps/Data Engineer to join our team & work remotely. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing front and backend of cloud servers, as well as an understanding of how to build and maintain data pipelines, and deploy software solutions.

Responsibilities:

 • Develop and maintain data pipelines, databases, and software solutions for cloud-based services

 • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to cloud-based services

 • Monitor and optimize system performance and scalability

 • Design, implement, and automate systems for monitoring and logging

 • Manage and maintain security and compliance standards

 • Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions

 • Maintain and document best practices for DevOps/Data Engineering

Requirements:

 • Degree in Computer Science or relevant qualification, Information Technology, or related field

 • Some experience with DevOps/Data Engineering

 • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies and services, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

 • Understanding of scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell

 • Good written and verbal communication skills

 • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
